BCRTA provides one bucket of flexible paid time off or "PTO." New employees that work 2,080 hours per year receive 29 days off per year including vacation, sick time, and holidays. Accruals increase with additional seniority. BCRTA also recognizes credit in other Ohio operated state retirement systems for the purposes of accrual calculation.*
BCRTA participates in the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System or "OPERS." Employees are required to contribute 10% of earning to their OPERS and BCRTA provides a 14% match. BCRTA employee do not contribute to Social Security.*
